My organization of Tae Kwon Do schools and chapters really took off in the early 1970s after the influence from General Choi Hong Hi and the ITF.
Hundreds of student members turned into thousands - throughout the state of Michigan and beyond! Here are images of my 1973 TKD Organization Handbook & Brochure that was shared with all member students at that time. Some of the Instructors went on to become Masters and Grandmasters themselves. Over the decades, they have produced tens of thousands of students & black belts, including generations of Masters and some Grandmasters too! Anyone who was ever a part of B.C. Yu Tae Kwon Do (or whose instructor was) should please follow my Facebook Page: GrandMaster BC Yu - because there is a lot more nostalgia shared there. I wish you the very best in Tae Kwon Do and in life! - Master Yu In 1974, I hosted TKD Founder, General Choi Hong Hi and his world famous Demo Team in Flint, Michigan. The event was held on June 23, 1974 at the 6000 seat I.M.A. auditorium. It was a spectacular display from some of Tae Kwon Do's most legendary Masters. Here are a few pictures and the original program from that historic event. Please be sure to visit my Official Facebook Page and "Like" or "Follow" the page - so that we can keep in touch! Master Yu
